Read this
article and be sobered by the current state of the so-called "church" in America. These "bless me" clubs that masquerade as the Church are not the true church. When speaking of the true Church, Jesus said that
the gates of hell shall not prevail against it which is not the case with these institutionalized religious organizations. The fingerprints of hell are all over this lot. They have no clue what it means to
take up their cross and submit their greedy, lustful, rebellious, sinful selves to the Lord Jesus Christ in brokenness and
repentance. As the writer of this
article states,
"They want a place where they can be made to feel good, where they can be entertained, where they can socialize and make business contacts, and where their children can have a place to play." The fact is that they hate the truth unless it's twisted to feed their flesh. The writer is so accurate in his assessment that none of the great, holy men of the Scriptures, nor the great preachers who shook their generations for Christ would be welcome in any of these meetings. These "posers" want their
itching ears tickled by
false shepherds and teachers, the
hirelings who will tell them what they want to hear so that no one is offended and the "tithe" keeps rolling in. This is not the Church that's
revealing the manifold wisdom of God to the principalities and powers in heavenly places. That Church is the remnant of Christ's true followers
who have not bowed the knee to Baal, who have
come out from among them and separated themselves as holy and set apart unto the Lord. Where do you stand?
