Discern the Lie

The three news stories below demonstrate the apostasy of the institutionalized "church" and how far into whoredom she has descended.

• New Bible translation promotes fornication
• New Testament translation: Thou shalt have sex
• Radical new translation makes Bible accessible to unchurched

Many of the new translations that have come out in recent years (i.e. NIV, TNIV, etc.), are corrupt in that they water down or change what was written by the authors of the Scriptures by superimposing preconceived religious ideas and even wicked humanistic philosophies into their rendering of the text. This new so-called translation which is actually a mis-translation is just the next logical step in this progression of deception. The Book of Revelation promises a severe judgment for those who change God's Word (Revelation 22:18-19).

When choosing a Bible Translation, a very helpful book is DIFFERENCES BETWEEN BIBLE VERSIONS by Gary F. Zeolla which can be found on the Darkness To Light website. In studying God's Word, you want a "close as possible," literal translation of the actual words that were written, so you can allow the Holy Spirit to guide you to the meaning of a passage (1 John 2:26-27, John 16:13), not a translation based on the preconceive ideas of some scholar who is attempting to tell you what he assumes the Holy Spirit meant. Some of these literal translations are available in a free software package called e-Sword which you can download from e-Sword.net. The developer has done a wonderful job to make God's Word, and many helpful study tools available to anyone who wants them at no charge whatsoever - the way God intends it to be.

Discern the Lie

Another attempt by the antichrist Roman Catholic Church to minimize their responsibility for the torture and murder of countless men, women, and children who would not bow the knee to it's evil. The statements issued by the Vatican do not resemble a contrite or repentant attitude, but rather the posture of a glossing over rationalization that fails to recognize the magnitude of guilt for the blood which is still on their hands. To get a glimpse of the magnitude of this guilt, read FOXE'S BOOK OF MARTYRS. If you are a believer in Jesus Christ, learn and know of the Roman Catholic Church's responsibility for the blood of your brothers and sisters. They have yet to repent for the atrocities committed against God's saints. Their unwillingness to do so reveals the true spirit which they are of - the spirit of antichrist, and the propensity to commit those acts again if conditions in the world were favorable for them to do so.

Discern the Lie

Another good article by Kelly McGinley revealing how the so-called "church" (i.e. institutionalized religion,) has failed to be what God intended it to be. This one quote from the article says it all: "Truth is the Christians who blindly support Republicanism over righteousness have blood all over their hands." The article goes on to promote the Constitution Party as an alternative to the Republican Party for Christians, and in so doing falls short of God's answer. We believers in Jesus Christ need to realize that we are not of this world. How many "Christians" blindly rely on the politics of wicked men rather than on God to affect change in the earth by His Spirit, His Sovereign Will and the righteousness and prayers of the Church? To rely on any man, leader, or political party to bring about God's kingdom and righteousness is to circumvent His prescribed plan in the Scriptures for the Church and is destined to utter failure. This is not about the institutional religious organizations masquerading as the Church which are corrupt and unscriptural to the core. This is about God's Church - the Remnant which He is calling out to be the acurate representation of His power, His glory, and of true holiness where His Son, Jesus Christ is the true Head and not just a figurehead. Know the Truth

A good commentary revealing the true cause of the moral landslide in our nation. The institutional religious organizations masquerading as the "Church" are as apostate and incurable as we will ever need reason to "come out from among them and be ye separate" (2 Corinthians 6:16-18). Read Frank Viola's four books (Rethinking the Wineskins, Who Is Your Covering, Pagan Christianity, and So You Want To Start a House Church?) listed in the Recommended Resources link on this page to learn why the institutional "church" is utterly unbiblical and how God is raising up a remnant of set-apart believers in Jesus Christ to be the true Church that He intended it to be.

This article is about how the Episcopal "bishop" of Los Angeles was rightfully forbidden from delivering a welcome speech at a regional meeting of conservative Episcopalians because of his refusal to agree to this statement: "I believe in and accept Jesus as Savior and Lord and that He is the only way into the heavenly kingdom." The "bishop" said that the statement "...basically excludes all people of Judaism, Islam and Buddhism as being within the love of God. I'm not willing to say that God has made that decision. I know that Christianity is the way for me, that Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. But I cannot say that God will make that decision on the last day. I don't know what God's decision will be."
Well we do know what God's decision will be because we have His Word in the Holy Scriptures. The "bishop" even quotes the very words of Jesus Himself "...I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." found in John 14:6. What further proof does he need? The Scriptures are clear that without Jesus, no one will see God (1 John 2:23, 1 John 5:9-12, 2 John 1:9). What is this "bishop's" source of truth? The most appalling thing about this is that this denial of truth was made by the leader of a church. It is this truth of the exclusiveness of Jesus as the only Way more than any other that will bring persecution upon the followers of Jesus Christ in these end times. The more we proclaim it, the more we will be singled out as intolerant and hateful.

Those of you who subscribe to or are regular visitors to this site may have noticed that OpenConfrontation.com was hijacked by a hacker this week, who apparently had a misguided agenda to point its visitors to a website that promotes the cult of Scientology and the false teachings of L. Ron Hubbard. I am happy to say that we are back online now and more determined than ever to "confront" religious deception.
